Rick Krueger who tragically took his own life the day before school started was place on paid leave after an investigation by the Michigan State Police began into Krueger having inappropriate activity with a student. That investigation is now complete and ultimately determined that Krueger provided a student with tobacco, but nothing more. Notes that Krueger left to family and friends suggested that there may be more inappropriate activity. However, the investigation determined there was only the tobacco incident. Krueger was remembered fondly by family, friends, students and co-workers.
