A 5-year-old Clare boy shot himself and a 6-year-old after finding a handgun in the car they were riding in Monday morning. Clare Police chief Brian Gregory said the handgun discharged striking the subject in the hand and striking the 6-year-old in the upper thigh area. Both children received non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
