At West Intermediate School, during a veterans Day Assembly, chants of build that wall were yelled by several students. The chants are in reference to Donald Trumps presidential promise to build a wall at the border of Texas and Mexico, and to make Mexico pay for it. Similar instances have taken place at several schools in the Michigan area. Ironically all that I have seen in in Michigan have occurred in middle schools. Check out the Morning Sun article here. Mt pleasant superintendent Mike Pung said that the kids were spoken to after being told to stop the chant, and also added that only several students participated. With most students helping stop the chant.
