Michael Young will spend up to five years in prison after intentionally setting a huge fire in downtown Alma last year. Young owned Young’s Health Gym and told investigators that he set the fire to “stop the owner from harming more people with the building.” Judge Randy Tahvonen reminded him that he was broke and facing eviction. Young’s lack of a criminal record was taken into consideration during the sentencing.
