A Mt Pleasant cardiologist faces trial in Saginaw County on two criminal charges stemming from a fight with his former girlfriend. 57-year-old Dr. John McClure has been charged with domestic assault and unlawful imprisonment for the January incident. He has offices at the Mid-Michigan Heart & Vascular Center in Mt Pleasant. McClure’s wife found him with another woman, according to court documents. The police report also says McClure forcibly tried to make the former girlfriend stay. His trial is set for 8:30AM on May 9th.
