A 21-year-old Mt Pleasant man will spend 77 months in prison for assaulting a woman last year on the Isabella Indian Reservation. Mayko George-Dye was arrested after punching the victim in the face, forcing her to drive him across the reservation boundary, and then strangling her on October 30, 2016. He was previously convicted in three separate incidents of family violence. He also had a cellmate’s girlfriend contact the victim in an attempt to make her lie.
