KINGSTON, MI (WNEM) –
What started out as a just a rainy evening quickly turned active as reports of tornadoes came in across Michigan.
The National Weather Service will survey damage after a tornado was spotted in Tuscola County.

The Kingston Fire and Rescue Departments reported damage on Martin Road and M-46 with reports of multiple trees knocked down, a trailer flipped over, and metal shingles torn from a roof.
Trained weather spotters also reported seeing a tornado touch down in Decker, which is in Sanilac County, shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday night. However, no damage was associated with that report.
The NWS will be sending a crew out to survey the damage in order to determine the strength of the reported tornadoes and confirm other reports from around the region.
It’s also possible a tornado briefly touched down in the Millington area, but the NWS will have to confirm those reports.
Consumers Energy is reporting 314 customers in the downtown Saginaw area without power Friday morning. The outage is on the east side of the city, near Washington Avenue. An estimated restoration time is set for 11:15 a.m.
