Christmas and summer seem to be the time for big Hollywood blockbusters to hit the theaters, this years Christmas will be no different with Jumanji, Ferdinand, and of course Star Wars!
A lot of us are familiar with this tale from the popular book. Ferdinand is a Spanish Fighting Bull who prefers smelling the flowers and relaxing rather than performing in the arena. When disaster strikes, he is taken to a fighting stadium, and Ferdinand needs to decide if he is a fighting bull in order to earn his freedom.
I don’t know how I feel about this remake…How can this movie be done better than the Robin Williams Jumanji from my childhood. I love the rock, but Kevin Hart? He seems like an odd fit for this movie, but I am sure he will be good for a couple of laughs throughout the movie. One thing that will be excellent in this movie is the special effects…It is considered a stand alone sequel from the original so don’t expect any special appearances. If you have a chance to see this movie in 3-D I would say that is the way to go!
Another installment of Star Wars…I don’t think I need to say anything more that that. The Last Jedi hints of some huge reveals, and there is already a sequel planned for the biggest movie series of all-time! Having taken her first steps into the Jedi world, Rey joins Luke Skywalker on an adventure with Leia, Finn and Poe that unlocks mysteries of the Force and secrets of the past. That is about all of the stroy line available from IMDB.com, if you are a Star Wars fan, I am sure this movie will not disappoint.
