After months of separation – and at least one new love interest – Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are officially calling it quits. In newly filed divorce papers, Pratt cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. The pair request joint custody of their 5-year-old son, Jack.
As we told you before, the couple released a joint statement announcing the separation in August – turns out that in court documents, Pratt and Faris list July 13th as the date of separation.
“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed,” the statement read. “Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.”
- In the meantime, Faris is reportedly dating cinematographer, Michael Barrett. The two were first seen out with in September after working on the film “Overboard.”
No word on any new love interest for Pratt.
