It’s here!  Lions football season!  For me, it’s a sure fire plan of what I am doing each Sunday afternoon.  This year like many in the past will have lots of optimism, and why not…  Matt Stafford may be the best QB we have ever had in the Motor City.  As long as he is under center I think Detroit has a chance to catch lightning in a bottle.  However, this year may be a tough one.

The NFC North may be the strongest division in football.  Minnesota brought in Kurt Cousins to replace Case Keenum; if Cousins can produce the way he did in Washington, Minnesota may be a contender.  Then you have Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers…Nuf said. Chicago is intriguing this year; 2nd year QB who showed some good signs as a rookie and they got this guy named Mack who is a pretty good defensive end.  The bears will be much improved.

So I think the Lions could finish in any spot of the NFC North, if things go well we could win it, but if things go bad we could end up in fourth place behind the up and coming bears.  Matt Patricia will be put to the test in his first year as lions head coach, the good news he was a rocket scientist before becoming as football coach, or at least that’s what I’ve been told.
