Water levels may be rising at Wixom Lake and others after the purchase of dams. Boyce Trusts and Four Lakes Task Force announced the tentative deal on the acquisition of the Wixom, Sanford, Secord, and Smallwood Dams and lake bottoms for $9.4 million. That means the filling of Wixom could happen later this month.
