34-year-old Joel B. Wallace of Reese was sentenced in Midland County Court to life in prison for murdering his great-aunt. After hearing the sentence, Wallace disrupted court proceedings by objecting. He claims he was being forced into a sentence. The judge said complaints could be brought up in appeal.
