After the whole “I dated Natalie Portman” controversy, Moby says he’s “going to go away for awhile.” He’s canceled his upcoming book tour in support of the memoir that sparked the outrage, “Then It Fell Apart.”

Taking to Instagram, Moby has another apology, saying the scandal is his “own fault.” “I am the one who released the book without showing it to the people I wrote it about. I am the one who posted defensively and arrogantly,” he writes. “I’m the one who behaved inconsiderately and disrespectfully, both in 2019 and 1999.”

In a statement on his website, he announces that he is “canceling all upcoming public appearances for the foreseeable future.”
