Colin Farrell rang in 43 years on Friday, but the celebration could never top his 25th birthday. Speaking to The Sun, the actor remembers trying to film the 2002 movie “Minority Report” with Tom Cruise with a killer hangover.
Farrell says that the hangover after his 25th birthday bash was so bad that it took 56 takes just to nail one line. “The line was, ‘I’m sure you’ve all grasped the fundamental paradoxical pre-crime methodology,l” he recalls. “I still know it 16 years later because it caused so much pain and anxiety, it should be on my tombstone.”
To be fair, he had asked for the day off. “I said, ‘please don’t have my working on June 1st, because my birthday is May 31st,’” he adds. “I thought a 100-million dollar firm would at least listen to that request… it was a rough night and I didn’t get any sleep.”
