Based on tests taken Tuesday and released Wednesday, taking a dip in some areas of the Chippewa River is not a good idea. Levels of E. coli in the Chippewa River downstream from Meridian Park remain unsafe and people are advised to avoid full contact with it. Signs have been posted where its unsafe.
