Licensed professional counselors in Michigan are upset and scared as the state looks to restrict their scope of practice, deeming their licenses ineffective. Earlier this summer, the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) announced it was looking to “clarify” and reword the outdated language within the license requirements.
