A former Chippewa County Corrections officer has been sentenced for smuggling in drugs to inmates. James Parr will serve between just-under two years to 20 for drug delivery charges. He was arrested in April after a tip from state police. Officers say they found heroin, marijuana and a cell phone on him. Parr pled guilty, back in November.
