Prince George is almost seven years old, and Kate Middleton and Prince William are already making sure he’ll be ready to be king one day. According to “The Sun,” the couple has been taking a child-friendly, “fun” approach to introducing the subject to their son.
How’s that? By explaining his future role in the royal family like “a storybook.” A source tells the outlet that George is starting to catch on that there’s “something special about him,” but the idea of being the King of England would be a lot for any six-year-old.
“William and Kate have already talked to George and Charlotte about their future roles, but in a child-like way so they understand without feeling overwhelmed,” the source adds. “[William] explains things as if he’s reading from a children’s storybook, so it’s fun for George.”
