Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are finally back home in Los Angeles after being quarantined in Australia after testing positive from coronavirus. On Saturday, Tom took to Twitter to share his gratitude for being home, being healed, and for the Australian healthcare workers that took care of both of them.
In the tweet, he stated that the two of them are still complying with guidelines and sheltering in place and social distancing. He also shared his gratitude for all the well wishes they received for their recovery.
Tom had shared on Twitter back on March 11th that he and his wife were tested positive for coronavirus. They spent several days being treated at the hospital in Australia before they were released to quarantine in a private residence. They were finally given the okay to return home to the USA.
