Tyler Perry is definitely paying it forward during the coronavirus crisis. We told you before how he gave a hefty tip to the servers at an Atlanta-area Houston’s restaurant. Now comes word that he’s been secretly paying for groceries for elderly shoppers across the A-T-L and New Orleans.

An insider said, “[Tyler] wanted to do something special to provide immediate relief for some of the most vulnerable in the two cities he considers home.” He chose Kroger stores in the Atlanta area and Winn-Dixie stores in New Orleans. Both chains reserved special hours for the elderly, and the filmmaker “targeted” those stores during that time.
