“Jeopardy” paid tribute to their longtime host, Alex Trebek, on yesterday’s episode. As we told you, the 80-year-old passed away over the weekend after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mike Richards, the executive producer of “Jeopardy,” came out to pay tribute to Alex. He said that they would miss him and that all 35 remaining episodes he shot would air. There are enough shows to take us through Christmas Day. Check it out on the right…

While the producers haven’t said anything about a replacement for Alex, sources say that George Stephanopoulos wants the gig. However, an ABC source claims that he’s not actively lobbying for it. “How disrespectful would that be to Alex’s family,” the source noted.
