For the third time, Governor Gretchen Whitmer held her State of the State address from the State Capitol in Lansing. However, it was different this year as it was held virtually. Whitmer didn’t come with any major bombshells in the speech, but did touch on one of the new ideas, the ‘MI Classroom Heroes’ grants for educators. She said it will take some unity across the aisle to make it happen.
