The Michigan Department of Education has selected 44 school programs across the state to develop new opportunities for students in grades 6-12 to explore education professions. The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe is one of them. Grantees will receive $10,000 in federal funding per eligible school building to build teams, provide student engagement activities, and plan for hands-on learning.
