An Ona-way man was arrested on May 10 after an investigation involving criminal sexual conduct was directed by the Cheboygan County Sheriff’s Department. Cody Lee Hoffmeyer, allegedly engaged in sexual contact with a minor over a number of years. He’s been officially charged w/ (3) counts of criminal sexual conduct, first degree; (6) counts of criminal sexual conduct; third degree, (1) count criminal sexual conduct; fourth degree and (1) count accosting a child for immoral purposes. He’s already been denied bond!
