A man fired gunshots at Alma police officers as they were leaving the Police Department just before noon, yesterday. Officers returned gunfire and pursued a mans car. The 28-year old man from Alma returned fire to the police, while moving in his vehicle. He was injured with what police describe as an apparent “gunshot wound!” He was treated & released from the hospital, then transported to the Gratiot Co Jail!
