Former longtime CEO of the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation, Amanda Schafer, has been hired as the new associate VP for advancement at Alma College. She earned her bachelor’s degree there in 1999 & was the recipient of the Barlow Trophy given to the top graduating senior. She earned her master’s at Bowling Green State University. She was with the Community Foundation for the past 13 years. She started her new job last week.
