Mt. Pleasant city commissioners are moving forward with a proposed ordinance to allow natural landscaping, after a discussion Monday night about an added proposal that failed to garner support. Commissioners didn’t agree with Mt. Pleasant police Chief, Paul Lauria’s proposed addition that would require residents to register & submit plans to the city that would detail the type of plants they plan on growing. It’ll be up for discussion at the May 13th meeting.
