A Mt. Pleasant man will stand trial on multiple charges related to an off-road vehicle crash that killed his friend last year. Isabella county trial court judge William Ervin on Monday morning ordered Stephen French Smith to stand trial on all charges but one, including two new charges on involuntary manslaughter. Smith has not yet been scheduled for circuit court arraignment and no trail date has been set.
