Ben Affleck discussed his recent stay in a treatment center in an Instagram post. He stated he completed 40 days at the center for alcohol addiction and is now in outpatient care. In the post he thanked members of his support system as well as opened up about his battle with addiction. He wrote “It is a full-time commitment, I am fighting for myself and my family.” Affleck also added that it is helpful to know that he is not alone in this fight and that others too struggle with this addiction.
