Venus Williams has reached a settlement in the case of a car crash from 2017. The crash left 78-year-old, Jerome Barson dead. The settlement paperwork was filed at a courthouse in West Palm Beach, Florida but does not specify if any money exchange was a part of the deal. In case you don’t remember what happened, here is a quick recap of the 2-17 crash: Linda Barson- the driver of one vehicle approached an intersection when Venus’ vehicle darted in from of her. Barson claimed that she did not have time to stop before hitting Venus’ car. Jerome Barson suffered head trauma, was taken to the hospital, and placed in ICU where he died two weeks later.
