As the investigation continues into now defunct online education alternative programs in Ithaca and Vassar, the third-party, for-profit company that was hired to manage the programs seems to have shut its doors. The Michigan Educational Partnership, based in Alma, now simply reads “Closed” when you visit its website. Both Ithaca and Vassar owe the state around $1 million in per pupil funding because of improper record keeping.
