Beaverton Schools are facing an estimated $300,000 shortfall and school officials are trying to figure out how to make up for it. Suggested plans from residents include moving sixth-grade classes into the high school, and cutting an additional teacher. District officials have suggested Eliminating five teachers and merging with another school district. Another meeting is planned May 27th to go over plans.
