Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom may be happily engaged, but even she realizes it takes work to have a strong relationship.
“I think we’re doing really great,” she shared on Australia’s KIIS “Kyle and Jackie O Show,” dodging the question about when they plan to wed. “We’re really doing the hard work laying a beautiful foundation before we start to build a massive house.”
Katy goes on to say that the fact that this is a second go for both of them is the motivation to get things right. “I was saying it, like, emotionally,” she added. “It’s important for us to do the work before we go and take this really big next step. We were both married before and it’s not the same in your 30s.”
