A plane crash that happened Saturday on Littlefield Lake in Gilmore Township prompted an explosive scare when investigators were checking out the plane. The sheriff’s office says the FAA and NTSB found a parachute for the plane that’s triggered by an explosive propulsion device. It was partially activated which is so dangerous that an MSP bomb squad had to be called in to detonate it.
