The Michigan Supreme Court is taking on a case from Big Rapids involving questions about free speech. Keith Wood was arrested after handing out pamphlets near the Mecosta County Courthouse and told people they could follow their conscience over the law if they served on a jury. The case was involving an Amish man accused of illegally draining wetlands. A plea deal was reached and no jury.
