Sophie Turner is happily married to Joe Jonas, but she didn’t exactly see it coming. In a new interview with “Elle” magazine, the actress reveals that she wasn’t that big of a fan of the Jonas Brothers singer before they got to know each other.
Back in the day, Turner and her friends had beef with the Jonas Brothers, blaming them for the break-up of another boy band, Busted from the United Kingdom. So when it came time for her and Joe’s first date, she brought along some guy friends because she figured Joe would show up with a bunch of bodyguards – or worse, that he was catfishing her.
“I expected him to show up with security and everything, I thought he would be such a d**k,” she says. But her reservations about the singer obviously didn’t last long, she adds, “Soon, we were inseparable.”
