Several stolen government license plates have now been recovered, after a joint investigation by multiple Mid-Michigan law enforcement agencies. The DNR Law Enforcement Division, the Ogemaw Co Sheriff’s Office, West Branch City Police Dept, and the Richfield Dept of Public Safety all took part. Investigators developed a suspect, a 49-year-old Ogemaw County man, after the stolen plates were located for sale online.
