Entourage” star Kevin Connolly has been accused of sexual assault by costume designer Gracie Cox, who has come forward with her story to “The Daily Beast.” Cox claims the actor cornered her at a 2005 wrap party in New York City for his directorial debut “The Gardener of Eden,” after coming on to her several times on set.
Cox admits she “laughed it off” when he would flirt on set, but didn’t think much of his advances. That is, until his behavior escalated at the party when they were alone. Cox claims Connolly led her to some kind of “VIP lounge area,” started kissing her,” and before she knew it he had taken off her pants and started having sex with her without a condom.
A rep for Connolly has denied the claims, saying the actor is “completely shocked” to hear Cox’s allegations about the incident that he considers “consensual.” “Kevin strongly supports victims of sexual assault and believe their claims should always be heard,” the statement reads. “Kevin acknowledges the lack of professionalism on his part, but he adamantly denies that it was anything other than a mutual consensual encounter.”
