A 36-year-old Farwell man is in the hospital after he was shot while tying to break into a Clare County home early Thursday morning. The homeowner said the man broke in around 12:20AM at a house on the 2000 block of South Old State Avenue in Lincoln Township. When the man refused to leave, the homeowner called police. When police arrived, the man went into a bedroom, and the homeowner shot him. His injuries aren’t life-threatening.
