For the 20th consecutive month, traffic over the Mackinac Bridge increased over the same month in year-over-year comparisons.And for the first time in more than a decade, monthly bridge crossings over the Straits of Mackinac surpassed 600,000.
Monthly bridge traffic has been rising year-over-year for the past 20 months. August tends to be the bridge’s busiest month.
