The Great Lakes Loons couldn’t take the sweep in South Bend Monday night as they fell to the Cubs 2-1. The two teams took a 1-1 tie into the 9th inning before Loons reliever Tony Gonsolin gave up the game winning RBI to Roberto Caro. Zach McKinstry drove in the lone run for the Loons in the loss.
