Plenty of mid-Michigan student athletes announced plans to continue their athletic careers in college yesterday on National Signing Day. Mt Pleasant’s Sean Fitzgerald committed to Michigan, after originally committing to Air Force. Jerry Parra will play football at Northwood, and Ally Wentworth will play soccer at Alma College. Alma’s Ryan Cornejo and Anthony Humm will play at Saginaw Valley State and Hillsdale respectively. Jon Hawley and DJ Lowery from Chippewas Hills will both play football at Siena Heights, Harrison’s Will Dennis is headed to Michigan Tech, and Ithaca’s Greg Woodcock-Cook will play at Olivet.
