The mass shooting that happened in Maryland yesterday was only a mile away from the set of “House of Cards.” To review, five people were shot, and three died. The set of the Netflix show was put on lockdown.
Netflix and Media Rights Capital released a statement saying, “We have been in touch with local authorities and are aware of a shooting situation that happened about a mile away from the ‘House of Cards’ set. Production on the show has not been impacted.”
The “House of Cards” cast includes Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, and Oscar winner Mahershala Ali. The show is currently shooting its sixth season.
