Kathy Bates and Teller (of Penn & Teller) To Guest On “Big Bang” As Amy’s Parents: Kathy Bates and magician Teller (Penn & Teller) are confirmed to play Amy’s parents on the season finale of “Big Bang Theory.” For those keeping track, the episode will feature Amy and Sheldon’s wedding. Bates will play Amy’s overbearing and overprotective mother. She replaces Annie O’Donnell, who briefly appeared during season nine on a video chat. Teller will play her father who’s not yet made an appearance on the show.
