Hollywood legend Charo is thanking fans for their support after her husband Kjell Rasten’s death. As we previously reported, Rasten died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound last month at 79.
In an emotional video posted to Instagram, the Spanish-American “Love Boat” star tears up as she thanks fans for being there for her when she really needed them. “It’s been very, very hard,” she notes. “I want to thank you all my heart for your help, your prayers, your support – that keeps me going.”
She also wants fans to know that the tragedy won’t keep her from the stage doing what she does best, especially since her late husband was so supportive of her music career. “I will continue [to perform] for his legacy,” she adds. “And the love that I have for entertaining that makes people happy.” Check out the video below.
