Emilia Clarke opened up about suffering two life-threatening brain aneurysms
- Her “Game Of Thrones” co-star Jason Momoa has recalled how they “almost lost her”
- He has nothing but praise for the actress for speaking out about her experience
We previously reported that Emilia Clarke opened up about suffering two life-threatening brain aneurysms while filming “Game Of Thrones.” During Wednesday night’s season eight premiere in New York City, her co-star Jason Momoa recalled how they “almost lost her” amid her health struggles.
The actor, who portrayed Khal Drogo on the show, also praised Clarke for speaking out about her experience to “raise awareness” about brain injuries and push for better care and advocacy for victims. That includes her ongoing work with brain injury charity Same You.
“I’ve been kind of a part of that situation for a very long time, we’ve had so many scares,” he said. “I’m very sad, because we almost lost her the first time… I love her to bits and she’s here and she’s going to do great things with it and teach the world.”
