Michigan’s Sheriffs’ Association has partnered with State Farm to automate the S.T.O.P.P.E.D program– which stands for Sheriffs Telling Our Parents and Promoting Educated Drivers. The program is being piloted right now in Livingston and Mason Counties for now. The voluntary program notifies parents when their child is involved in a traffic stop by a Sheriff’s Deputy.
