ean Kasem, widow of late radio legend Casey Kasem, has filed the latest in a string of lawsuits since his death in 2014. Newly-obtained court docs reveal that Jean has filed a wrongful death suit against his attorney,Samuel D. Ingham III.
We told you before that Jean is locked in a legal battle against the late star’s three adult children – Kerri, Julie and Michael – claiming they “tricked” him into giving them power of attorney and blaming them for his death. Now, Jean is accusing Ingham of conspiring with Kasem’s kids “to isolate and kill Casey Kasem for financial gain.”
In the suit, Jean claims that rather than advocating for Kasem, Ingham became “an active participant” in a “horrifying plot” to end his life. All the while, she alleges that she and his youngest daughter Liberty Kasem were kept “in the dark” as Ingham “ignored or defied court requests” to visit Kasem in Washington state as his health declined.
