Factory workers at General Motors Co. are now on strike, which is being called the UAW’s largest work stoppage, in over a decade & amongst the biggest walkouts at a private-sector employer in years. Union Leaders called the strike after talks failed with GM, on a new 4-year labor agreement. The Union is pressing for higher pay, more job security & better benefits.
