Mt. Pleasant business owners are not happy about CMU’s recent decision to move CMU-Western weekend to Ford Field in Detroit in October. Some say they’ll miss out on what’s usually one of their busiest weekends. CMU President Robert Davies said it’s about the university’s commitment to the metro Detroit area, to Southeastern Michigan, to alumni, current students and to the potential students.
